Pita's in Paradise
Phil's Take:
Mediterranean might be top 3 favorite foods for me, who doesn't like some Gyro meat with feta cheese all over it? This place had some incredible food full of flavor, one of our favorite spots to eat when we are in CB.

House Rock Kitchen

Awesome spot to grab a bite in BV, scratch made food that has never disappointed. Even when busy (usually always) they are quick with the service and friendly as well, great outdoor seating. I've had many of their apps, burgers and sandwiches and all were amazing.

Mango's Mtn Grill
Phil's Take:
If you didn't know about this spot or that Red Cliff existed (you could literally drive right over the town and not think about going there) you'd be missing out! Good small town bar vibes and good food, lots of it is of the fried variety but that's ok. Coming in off of 24 follow the signs down to Red Cliff and it's the only spot in town to grab a bite.

Casa Sanchez

Believe it or not, good Mexican food is somewhat hard to find in Colorado. Situated on Main Street in Leadville Casa Sanchez does not disappoint, very good Mexican food that doesn't taste bland. Their Margs are also pretty good, we had one while sitting out on the Patio.

This isn't the pizza you thought you'd be getting but it's delicious! They also have great wings here, great spot to grab a bite before heading over into Winter Park. There is also a location in Georgetown, CO.

Breck Taphouse
Phil's Take:
In a town full of touristy food lacking flavor, the Breck Taphouse pulls off some fantastic meals including an assortment of tacos that can't be beat! I have tried almost everything on the menu and it's all good, with friendly staff and fast service as well. Carnitas tacos with some Mexican corn and Brussels are probably my go to meal here.

Otto's Food Cart

I cannot overstate how good this spot is! I've had several menu items and they are all fantastic and with choices of fries and various sauces, this one is a definitely highly recommend. Be aware it's usually very busy but trust me it's worth the wait.

Awesome spot to get some nachos covered in your choice of meat, tacos or just chips and salsa with of course, a nice Cherry Blonde! This spot is never that slammed with people and even if moderately busy they are quick and friendly here. Good snack type food to go along with better brews.

One could easily drive past this place and not realize what you are missing: home cooked diner fare that is always delicious. Inside this small market there is a small restaurant where they serve absolutely amazing breakfast and lunch menu options. Massive portions and a friendly staff make this a must stop spot on your way through.

A little on the pricey side but that's ok, small town western saloon vibes and very very good food as well. I've eaten here several times and the food has always been fantastic from the salads to main courses, it's all good. My personal favorite are the fried green tomatos.
