The Montgomery Reservoir is less about the length of the ride and more about the cool views you are rewarded with at the end of the trail! This ride could be done on a street capable bike as the dirt roads are pretty tame getting back to the reservoir, although new / beginner riders should take caution. This is one of the few dirt roads that will be labeled a green route, because of how short the ride is. This is one of those quick detours that should be taken after coming over Hoosier Pass from Breckenridge to Alma, if only for the cool photos you get.
