67 Woodland Park (WP) is so named here because it's the middle portion of 67 that runs from Deckers to Woodland Park. There is also a northern portion and a southern down by Cripple Creek, so to keep things separate this section of road is 67 WP. The road is easily handled by any type of street or dual purpose motorcycle with just about any type of rider (sans an absolutely brand new one) being able to handle it. The pavement surface does appear to have large stretches of what appears to be black tar in the surface which might get slick in the wet, otherwise it's good to go.
This is a great route run either way, going to or from Deckers (which is a motorcycle hangout spot on the weekends).
1. 67 WP
Deckers is an unincorporated community along the South Platte River in Douglas County, Colorado, United States. Stephen Decker built a general store here in the 1890s. He later added a saloon and called the settlement "Daffodil." The presence of natural springs led him to establish Deckers Mineral Springs and Resort in the popular region for fly-fishing. Deckers received national attention for the June 2002 forest fire, known as the Hayman Fire, which burned thousands of acres on the outskirts of the Denver metro area.
