Deer Creek Canyon is easily the closest "good ride" just outside the beltway of 470 on the west side of Denver. Originating off of the Ken Caryl exit the route takes you past homes and eventually starts climbing through several canyon areas. The road is well maintained for any motorcycle although beginner riders are not encouraged to ride here. There are some decreasing radius turns, gravel spots and other sequences of turns that could catch a new rider by surprise (or have them going so far under the speed limit it could be dangerous).
1. Deer Creek Canyon
The 285 Corridor is a great place to come visit. The views are gorgeous and the activities are endless. If you are coming up for the weekend or the week here are the top restaurants and breweries to visit. These restaurants each have specialties that need to be explored and tasted. While the 285 Corridor and surrounding area doesn’t have a lot of bars, breweries, taprooms or wineries, we do have the best! If you are a local or just in town visiting make sure to stop by one of these establishments. Each business offers a unique environment so make sure to explore them all! In addition, they are also Conifer Chamber of Commerce members and are dedicated to our community and making the 285 Corridor and surrounding area the best place to live and explore.
